Someone is using my photos on a Shopify store

A Shopify store is using your Etsy photos. Do these three things before you pay anyone who emails you offering to handle it.

Save the page. Copy the link to every product page that uses your photo, not just the store home. Take screenshots, and write down the date. Shopify will not take a general shop link. Your original Etsy listing, and the files you uploaded, are the proof the photos are yours.

Report it on Shopify's own form. You have to be the rights holder or someone they authorized. The form is shopify.com/legal/tools/report-an-issue/dmca. It is their copyright notice. Sign in with a Shopify account, or create one, to send it. You are reporting someone else's store. Describe which photo is on which page. Their help page says what the notice has to include. Temu, SHEIN, Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and other Etsy shops have their own forms. Use those, not a random email.

If Etsy removed your listing because the copy showed up first, write Etsy and show them your original files and the date you published.
